The police’s cyber crime division has addressed charges against a 16-year-old boy from Athens for circulating child pornography and violation of privacy.
The case began when three underage girls (one 14-year-old and two 15-year-olds) reported that indecent photographs had been uploaded on a Facebook group. The group featured numerous indecent pictures of minors.
The cyber crime division launched an investigation and managed to locate the group manager, which turned out to be the 16-year-old boy. Two hard drives have been seized from his home for further investigations.
