The Alternate Minister of Migration Policy Yannis Mouzalas announced that Greece will not accept any unilateral actions, upon arrival at Thursday’s council meeting of EU Interior Ministers in Brussels.

Additionally, the Minister told journalists that the summit meeting is particularly important, since it will reflect to what extent Europe is united. The Greek Minister questioned how “five police directors” may overturn the decision of state leaders and governments.

Mr. Mouzalas further elaborated and highlighted the peculiarity of this matter, as it is related to the discussion on how to address the humanitarian crisis in Greece, which they “intend to create”.
