The teacher federations DOE and OLME have announced that they will carry out strike actions on Wednesday, in response to the Ministry of Education’s “accounting approach” to staff shortages.
Two-hour job stoppages (12:00-14:00 and 14:00-16:00) have been announced by the two federations, in order to facilitate teachers so that they may rally outside the Ministry of Education at 13:30.
In their statement the federations called the government to stop transferring teachers and to carry out permanent placements
