Farming sector preparing from strike actions next week

Farmers from Thessaly are preparing to respond to the government policies of further cuts and increasing taxes with a series of actions starting next week, following a meeting of the Larissa federation of farming associations. (EOASNL).

As such, it was decided for farmers to congregate and demonstrate in central squares on Friday, 15^th of January. The farmers have not ruled out the possibility of setting up road blocks at a later point, provided they coordinate with out federations and bodies.

A number of farming unions, from the primary sector, have also decided gather in Thessaloniki on the 14^th of January to determine their actions and coordinate their efforts.
