The leader of the River Stavros Theodorakis held a press conference at midday on Tuesday, where the made seven proposals in order to put an end to the uncertainty in Greece.

Mr. Theodorakis argued that Greece has not yet overcome the dangers it faces and underlined the importance of putting an end to the uncertainty in Greek public opinion. His proposals are

  • Avoid elections until the county is fully stabilized
  • Consensually replace the President of Parliament Zoi Konstantopoulou
  • No more unilateral actions in the public sector and education
  • The Prime Minister must publish the roadmap of government and parliamentary activities until October
  • The Government must publicize the alleged plans for a return to the drachma and possible contacts that were carried out with third countries
  • Develop in August an action plan to support SMEs and exports
  • Debate changes in electoral law, while aiming to abolish the 50-seat bonus given to the first party
