The spokesman for SYRIZA Panos Skourletis was called by SKAI to comment on Sunday’s electoral results, with Mr. Skourletis arguing that any political developments will be determined by the results of the upcoming European elections.
Mr. Skourletis further noted that was the reason why SYRIZA president Alexis Tsipras did not refer the possibility of general elections after the first round of the local government elections.
The SYRIZA spokesperson further estimated that results in Athens and Attica were “the loudest message”, since those two electoral zones can allow fo central political conclusions. Mr. Skourletis added that the people voted against the bailout in many cases.
