The Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has arranged an official visit to Paris, where he is scheduled to meet with French President Francois Holland, a day before the European summit meeting on the refugee crisis.

Reports indicate that the review of the Greek bailout program will be at the focus of the meeting, with the Greek PM aiming for French support, in relation to the reforms and negotiations with the institutions.

The upcoming trip to France is part of Greek the Prime Minister’s initiatives for a political solution to the latest stall in the negotiations with the creditors.

The French President and German Chancellor Angela Merkel recently met in Strasbourg, where they expressed their concern over the reactions and demonstrations in Greece, which appear to fuel a climate of destabilization.
