The Athens Stock Exchange was under significant pressure upon opening on Thursday, with the general price index retreating by 3.83% and standing at 509.45 points at closing.
Transactions throughout the day were valued at 81.15 million euros, while the yield of the ten-year bond closed at 9.61%.
