The seasonal ‘flu outbreak has persisted, with Center for Prevention and Control of Diseases (KEELPNO) announcing that three people succumbed to the virus in the past 48 hours, raising the number of victims to 121.

KEELPNO also noted that a further 35 people are currently being hospitalized in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) due to complications with the ‘flu virus.

Since the start of the outbreak, a total of 313 cases if ‘flu have been confirmed and treated at local hospitals. Most patients belong to the high risk group, which includes infants, the elderly, obese and others.

Once again, KEELPNO has urged people to seek out and received anti-viral treatment as soon as the first symptoms appear.
