The veteran New Democracy MP Dora Bakoyanni commented that she would do “whatever is necessary” when asked about her party’s leadership, hinting that she may run for party president herself.
Mrs. Bakoyanni told SKAI that “procedures are escalating” within New Democracy and argued that her party needs to establish itself in the center right.
Furthermore, she was critical of the Antonis Samaras-led government, stating that “if we had the guts, the structural changes would have closed” and was confident that her party would be there when needed.
