The seasonally-adjusted rate of unemployment in January 2014 rose to 26.7%, compared to the 26.5% rate in January 2013 and 27.2% in December 2013.
The Greeks statistics authority further announced that in January 2014 there were 3,613,826 people in employment, while there were 1,317,848 unemployed and a total of 3,386,498 who were non-active.
