The newly-elected president of New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis will preside over his party’s parliamentary group meeting that is scheduled for 2pm on Thursday in Parliament.
During the midday meeting, the parliamentary group of the main opposition party will elect its new general secretary and deputies.
Additionally, Mr. Mitsotakis is expected to approach party officers and MP who did not support him in his electoral campaign, in an effort to create a new leadership within the conservative party.
