A police operation in Thessaloniki resulted in the arrest of two people, aged 35 and 15, who appear to be involved in the trafficking of refugees and immigrants.
The police announced that it has arrested a 35-year-old Afghan man and a 15-year-old Pakistani boy.
According to the police report, the two suspects are accused of housing six non-legal immigrants in an apartment in the west end of Thessaloniki – two Syrians and four Afghans – until they reached their final destination in Athens.
