The main opposition party SYRIZA has a 3.2-point lead over ruling party New Democracy, according to the latest survey conducted by VCITIZENS, which was published in Wednesday’s edition of the Efimerida ton Syntakton daily.

When asked which party they intend to vote for in the next general elections, the responses were as follows:

  • SYRIZA – 23.3%
  • New Democracy – 20.1%
  • Golden Dawn – 6.1%
  • KKE – 4.9%
  • The River – 4.2%
  • PASOK – 3.1%
  • Independent Greeks – 2.4%
  • Democratic Left – 1%
  • Other party – 4.1%
  • Abstain/blank – 15.6%
  • Undecided/No answer – 15.2%

The “other party” category in greater detail shows the following:

  • ANTARSYA – 0.7%
  • Green Ecologists/Pirate Party 0.6%
  • Giorgos Papandreou’s unnamed party – 0.5%
  • EPAM – 0.5%
  • Giorgos Lykoudis’ party – 0.4%

  • Centrist Union – 0.2%
  • Unspecified other party – 1%

The survey was conducted between the 11th and 14th of December 2014.
