The police has launched an operation code-named “Thiseas” in the downtown Athens areas of Thisio, the Acropolis, Keremikos and Petralona, in an effort to tackle illicit trade, narcotics and locate illegal immigrants.
The latest police operation involves a great number of officers, including motorcycle police and aims to combat crime in down Athens.
