Juncker: “Tsipras must tell Greeks that he will not keep all of his promises”

The president of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker stated in an interview for El Pais that while Greek PM Alexis Tsipras has made a huge step, he must tell Greek voters that he will not keep all of his election campaign promises.

Mr. Juncker also told the Spanish newspaper that “Tsipras has the ability to pose the correct questions, but he never gave us answers”.

He further explained that the national elections of one country cannot change the European Union and that Tsipras’ victory does not allow him to change everything.
