A pro-government rally has been organized via facebook for 18:00 on Thursday, outside Parliament on Syntagma Square, in order to support the Greek government in the current negotiations.
According to the statement of the organizers, “on Wednesday evening the central banker Draghi chose to play Merkel’s game again and to blackmail the Greek people and the new Greek government. We will not give in to this blackmail again”.
The organizers have extended a call to participate in the rally “to send a message to all those who think they have us in their grip, that they have misunderstood something” and declared that “the era of the kneeling down Greece and obedient governments is over”.
They conclude by expressing their support of “our government’s firm stance” and by “sending solidarity to all of the people of Europe who are waiting for Greece to send the message of dignity and ending the austerity”.
