Three Greek teams are making their final preparations for their upcoming matches for the Europa League tonight.

For Group C, Asteras will be facing Tottenham Hotspur in Tripoli tonight. The Arcadian team has so far excelled in its third foray in the European competition. Team manager Staikos Vergetis is planning on supporting his midfield line in an effort to block the English side’s offensive game. Asteras is hoping for a positive result that will help secure a spot in the next phase of the competition.

In Group E, Greek Cup holders Panathinaikos will be hosting Dutch side Eindhoven in Athens tonight and Yannis Anastasiou does not want to consider any other result than a victory, as they are stuck at the bottom of the table. The “Greens” are not facing any serious problems and star forward Marcus Berg, who recently recovered from an injury, is expected to be in the starting eleven.

In tonight’s games for Group K, Thessaloniki’s PAOK will face Group leaders Fiorentina in Italy. The Italian side has already secured participation in the next phase of the European competition, putting the pressure on PAOK for a result. PAOK coach Anastasiadis, who is expected to present an offensive strategy, will not be using Rat and Mak as they are injured.
