The president of PASOK and head of the Democratic Alignment Fofi Gennimata was received by the President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos on Tuesday morning.
The aim of the Tuesday-morning meeting was to discuss the latest developments in relation to the refugee crisis. During the meeting, the PASOK leader asked the President to call a meeting of political leaders.
The President responded that he will support a meeting of political leaders, while underlining the need for a consensus, but argued that there are procedures in place regarding such a meeting that need to be observed.
