With thousands of tractors stations on highways across Greece over the government’s pension and tax reform plans, the farmers have arranged a nationwide debate a noon, at the Cultural Center of Sindos in Thessaloniki, which representatives from all road blocks expected to attend. As such, the Tempi junction will not be closed off, as initially planned

The aim of Tuesday’s debate will be to decide upon the farmer delegation that will head to Athens for talks with the government as well as the agenda of issues to be discussed. Another, broader meeting between farmers, self-employed and representatives of institutions will be held in Nikea.

Farmers across Greece continue to join and support the road blocks, while demonstration has been planned for 10am outside the OGA offices in Thessaloniki.
