The General Accounting Office and the central OGA building in Athens have been occupied by employees and PAME unionists respectively, in protest against the government’s pension system reform plans.

According to a statement issued by the employees who have occupied the General Accounting Office, the new system being devised will see pensions slashed by 35% and the situation will become worse after all pension fund merge.

Meanwhile, about 100 unionists from the All Workers Militant Front (PAME) have symbolically occupied the central building of farmer pension fund OGA in central Athens. The PAME unionists have raised a huge banner and have called people to show solidarity to the farmer struggle and support the roadblocks.
