A 33-year-old held at the Agios Stefanos prison facility in Patra was injured during a clash on inmates that took place around noon on Monday.
According to reports a 23-year-old Greek, 38-year-old Nigerian and 45-year-old Somali prisoner assaulted and injured the 33-year-old Greek inmate, who was then taken to the university hospital of Patra for treatment.
It appears that the 23-year-old threatened the 33-year-old man with a knife. The likeliest reasoning behind the attack is personal differences.
