The Tera Jet and Ariadne have transported a total of 1,459 and 1,598 refugees respectively from Lesvos and Mytilene to the port of Piraeus on Monday morning.
The improvement of the weather conditions over the weekend saw an increase of refugee arrivals on the island on Lesvos, with local authorities documenting 2,462 people on Sunday alone.
