Nearly 5,000 refugees arrive in Piraeus on Monday morning

Μετανάστες έχουν αποβιβαστεί από πλοία με αφετηρία Μυτιλήνη και Χίο, στο λιμάνι του Πειραιά, Σάββατο 7 Νοεμβρίου 2015. Στο λιμάνι του Πειραιά, με τουλάχιστον 4.000 μετανάστες, από τη Μυτιλήνη και τη Χίο, καταπλεύσαν ,τρια επιβατηγά οχηματαγωγά πλοία, μετά τη λήξη της απεργίας της Πανελλήνιας Ναυτικής Ομοσπονδίας (ΠΝΟ). A total of 4,817 refugees were transported from the Aegean islands of Lesvos and Chios to the port of Piraeus on Monday morning.

Specifically the Tera Jet transferred and the Blue Star Patmos carried1,731 and 1,427 respectively from Lesvos, while the Ariadne transferred a total of 1,659 – 830 from Lesvos and 829 from Chios.
