Two ferry boats have transported about 3,000 refugees from the islands of Lesvos and Chios, with the Ariadne arriving at 7am with 1,579 refugees, while the Blue Star Patmos arrived at 8:30 with an additional 1,424 refugees.
Meanwhile the Tera Jet catamaran, as well as the Blue Star 1 and Eleftherios Venizelos ferry boats are in the port of Mytilene on Lesvos and are preparing to set sail for Piraeus within the day.
