The Minister of Labor Giorgos Katrougalos told journalists that his goal is “not just to secure the sustainability of the pension system” but to ensure a system that will provide «pensions that are not tips”.

Mr. Katrougalos, who met earlier with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, admitted that there was very limited time available and repeated his claim that “we must carry out in a month what had not been done in 40 years”.

The Labor Minister also stressed that the critical legislative bill on the much-debated pension reform must be ready within November.
