New Democracy candidate Christos Markogiannakis may face charges of misconduct in relation to his possible involvement in the tragic case of bullying victim Vangelis Giakoumakis.

Mr. Markogiannakis allegedly contacted the administration of the Dairy School, in order to avoid imposing any penalties being imposed on a group of students from Crete, who are said to have bullied Giakoumakis.

According to the New Democracy candidate this was a “common, necessary and human action” that had nothing to do with bullying and claims that his involvement is being blown out of proportion to smear his party ahead of Sunday’s elections.
