The Greek national basketball team is set to face the Spanish team on Tuesday evening for the quarterfinals of the 2015 EuroBasket competition, with the winner set to play against the winner of the France v Latvia match, for a shot at the grand final.
So far the Greek team has been undefeated in the competition and despite some setbacks, has faced few problems. Spain on the other hand, which has a good track record against Greece in recent years, was defeated twice in the group stage (by Serbia and Italy), but remains a major European basketball force.
Tuesday evening’s tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm, Athens time.
