A 15-year-old boy and his 42-year-old mother have been arrested, after the 15-year-old shot and killed a 17-year-old boy in Kato Achaia near Patra. The authorities are currently looking for the 42-year-old father and 39-year-old uncle.
According to the police report, the 15-year-old had personal differences with the victim and a heated argument preceded the shooting. The 15-year-old told the police that he was beaten up by the victim, after asking him to stop bothering his 16-year-old sister.
Following the argument, the 15-year-old went to his uncle’s home, where he took his father’s hunting rifle and drove back to the school. The 17-year-old was shot in the school courtyard and was rushed to the General Hospital of Patra with a serious chest injury, but it was too late.
