A video showing the verbal assault against Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis and his wife Danae Stratou, as they dined in Exarchia, has emerged on Youtube.
In the video, a group of about 30 hooded assailants is seen entering the restaurant and shouting against the Minister of Finances and demanding that he leave the area.
The assailants can be heard telling him “you are a politician and we do not believe you”, “leave and never come back to Exarchia” and “go where your colleagues go” among others.
