The president of PASOK and government VP Evangelos Venizelos, who is currently in Brussels, commented on the financial repercussions fo the political uncertainty in Greece.

Mr. Venizelos argued that the uncertainty has a “negative financial impact” and that “we have spat blood for five years to keep the country upright”. He warned that as president of PASOK and government VP he would not allow the Greek people’s sacrifices and achievements to go to waste.

The government VP explained that “if the Greek people want chose to assign the responsibility to some who will waste the achievements and sacrifices after the elections, let them do it. Until then though, we must ensure what did with great effort and pain”.
