The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has published in study on income and living conditions for 2015, which closely examined the risk of poverty.

According to ELSTAT’s survey on Income and Living Conditions, about 35.7% of the Greek people faced the risk of poverty or social exclusion in 2015, which marks a minor improvement on the rate from 2014 (36%).

Furthermore, the survey shows that the share of persons at-risk-of-poverty or social exclusion aged 18-64 years for Greek nationals amounts to 37.4%, and for foreign national residing in Greece to 64.3%.
