The Minister of Finance Euclid Tsakalotos has announced that the government will reach an agreement for the Elliniko development by fall.

The deal with Lamda Development, China’s Fosun and an Abu Dhabi-based firm is said to be worth about 915 million euros.

Before the deal can be reached though, the approval of a development plan and granting of a casino license are necessary.

From the stand in Parliament Mr. Tsakalotos argued that the talks with the investors will carry on until fall and estimated that reaching an agreement was feasible.

According to the state budget, the government aims to collect 345 million euros as a first installment this year from the transaction.
