The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has published its latest seasonally-adjusted divs on the labor force and found that there was a 25.6% rate of unemployed in April 2015, down from 25.8% in March 2015 and 27% in April 2014.

According to the survey, in April 2015 ELSTAT documented 3,543,651 employed, 1,216,870 unemployed and 3,334,628 inactive people. The survey shows that ranks of the employed increased by 16,834 (0.5%) compared to March 2015 and 49.283 (1.4%) compared to April 2104.

The number of unemployed dropped by 11.848 (1%) compared to March 2015 and 78,759 (6.1%) compared to April 2014, while the number of inactive people dropped by 9,103 (0.3%) compared to March 2015 and 21,089 (0.6%) compared to April 2014.
