The leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democracy for Europe (ALDE) Guy Verhofstadt and the Minister of Finances Yanis Varoufakis seem to be in agreement over the need for reforms in Greece.
On his twitter account, Mr. Verhofstadt reposted an interview that Mr. Varoufakis gave to Tagesspiegel and was reposted on the EurActive website. He also included a picture reading “Keep calm and reform Greece”.
Mr. Varoufakis responded to the retweet and noted “This is precisely what we ask for: An opportunity to reform deeply. Which cannot be done under even greater austerity…”
