The President of PASOK Evangelos Venizelos lashed out against Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras over the progress of the negotiations. The four-month process, according to Mr. Venizelos has exhausted the country and ruined the economy.
Mr. Venizelos further stated that “Mr. Tsipras does not have the courage to admit that all these years and before the elections he was saying outright lies, deceiving the Greek people” and added that “we always said that there is only one responsible and safe national strategy. Now is the time for everyone to realize this”.
The PASOK leader concluded his statement by noting that “Mr. Tsipras does not have the right to sacrifice the country for the sake of narrow political correlations”.
