The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT documented a 0.3% increase of the Gross Domestic Product on an annual basis between January and March 2015, but compared to the October-to-December 2014 period, the GDP shrunk by 0.2%

According to ELSTAT’s seasonally adjusted divs, during the first quarter of 2015 the GDP in volume terms dropped by 0.2% to 46.49 billion euros, compared to the 46.60 billion euros in the fourth quarter of 2014. Non-seasonally adjusted divs show that in the first quarter of 2015 the GDP in volume terms increased by 0.1%, when compared to the first quarter of 2014.

The statistics authority also notes that “the present flash estimates are expected to be revised when provisional estimates are produced and disseminated on 29/05/2015 on the basis of updated primary data that will have become available at that point”.
