A survey conducted by German firm Sentix shows that about half of the investors questioned believe that a “Grexit” is going to happen within the next 12 months.

According to the study, which was carried out between the 23rd and 25th of April, 48.3% of the 1,023 investors believed that Greece will leave the Eurozone within the next 12 months.

The rate increased significantly from March, when a survey showed that only 35.5% of respondents believed that a Grexit would happen.

It appears that the main cause of this development is that investors are not entirely convinced by the Greek government’s efforts and commitments.

The survey also showed that only 26.1% of respondents fear the Greek debt crisis spreading to other Eurozone members.
