The veteran New Democracy MP Dora Bakoyanni has requested from Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to submit in Parliament a copy of the agreement reached at the Eurogroup of the 20th of February, so that all MPs can be aware of the government’s commitments.
Mrs. Bakoyanni also claimed that SYRIZA MP and Parliament VP Alexis Mitropoulos has publicly disputed the signing of the extension of the loan agreement for four months, as well as the content of the extension itself.
The New Democracy MP further stressed that Mr. Mitropoulos’ dispute, which is also expressed by other SYRIZA officers, raises questions both domestically and abroad and claimed that it undermines the government’s negotiating powers at the upcoming Eurogroup.
