The Greek Association of Prosecutors has requested that judicial officers be exempt from the plans of the Alternate Minister of Public Order Yannis Panousis to reduce the number of police guards who have been assigned to protect public divs.
In their statement, the judicial officers argue that the special circumstances and nature of their job necessitates that utmost care is taken to provide adequate protection.
As such, they call to Alt. Minister to carefully consider his plans regarding the police protection assigned to judicial officers.
