A total of 51 people in Greece have died as a result of the ongoing seasonal flu virus outbreak, while 27 continue to receive treatment at intensive care units.
Since the start of the outbreak this season 115 people have been hospitalized in ICUs.
The Center of Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO) has urged people in sensitive groups at risk, such as the elderly, to seek out antiviral inoculation and protection against the flu.
