The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announced earlier today the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the 4th quarter of 2014 (flash estimates).

The available seasonally adjusted data indicate that in the 4th quarter of 2014 the GDP decreased by 0.2% in volume terms in comparison with the 3rd quarter of 2014, while it increased by 1.7% in comparison with the 4th quarter of 2013.

The available non-seasonally adjusted data indicate that in the 3rd quarter of 2014 the GDP increased by 1.5% in volume terms in comparison with the 4th quarter of 2013.

It is noted that GDP for the previous quarters of 2014 was revised on account of updated General Government data and revision of short-term indices (for example retail trade volume index revision).

ELSTAT’s full data set is available online.
