The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has published its latest data on the labor force, with the seasonally-adjusted rate of unemployment being 25.8% in November 2014, the same as in the previous month. There was however a drop compared to November 2013, when the rate was 27.7%.
According to ELSTAT’s data, the number of employed amounted to 3,538,308 persons. The number of unemployed amounted to 1,229,367 while the number of inactive to 3,347,378. As such, the number of employed increased by 52,585 (1.5%) persons compared to November 2013 and decreased by 27,720 (0.8%) persons compared to October 2014.
