The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has published its latest divs regarding industrial production and documented a 2.3% increase of the index in November 2014, compared to November of 2013. In November 2013, the annual rate of change of the Industrial Production Index (IPI) was -6.6%.
In the 11-month period from January 2014 to November 2014, the average rate of change of the IPI was –2.6%. In November 2013, the corresponding average rate of change of the IPI was –3.3%.
The 2.3% increase of the IPI in November 2014 has been attributed to a 13.2% increase of production in mining and quarrying, 5.5% increase in manufacturing, a 10.8% decrease in electricity production and a 3% increase of water supply production.
