The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has published its latest divs on exports, the total value of which was estimated to be 2.514 billion euros in October 2014, compared to 2.347 billion euros in October of 2013, marking a 7.1% increase.

The deficit of the trade balance, in October 2014 amounted to 1.762 billion euros in comparison with 1.844 billion euros in October 2013, recording a drop, in euros, of 4.4%. The corresponding change excluding oil products recorded an increase of 28.5 million euros or 2.7%.

Additionally, ELSTAT’s divs show that the total value of imports-arrivals, for the 10-month period from January to October 2014 amounted to 3.9957 billion euros, compared to 3.9543 billion euros for the corresponding period of the year 2013 recording an increase, in euros, of 1,0%. The corresponding change excluding oil products recorded an increase of 1.722 billion euros or 6.9%.
