The football gods smiled upon the Greek champions in the Europa League draw on Monday, according to which Greek champions Olympiacos FC will face Ukrainian runner-ups Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the two-leg knockout phase of 32.
The first match is set to take place on the 19th of February in Kiev, where Dnipro has been forced to relocate due to the ongoing military operations in the country, with the second match scheduled for the 26th of February in Piraeus.
Dnipro, who is currently third in the Ukrainian league, made it through to the round of 32 with Inter Milan after a desperate 1-0 win against French side Saint-Étienne in the final match of the group phase. Team coach Myron Markevych has previously faced Olympiacos when he coached Metalist Kharkiv in the 2008-09 and 2011-12 seasons.
