The Greeks statistics authority ELSTAT has released its latest divs on imports and exports and found that the total value of imports in September 2014 amounted to 4.343 billion, up by 7.4% compared the previous year.
Likewise, ELSTAT documented an 8.7% drop in the total value of exports in September 2014, which was found to be 2.285 billion euros, compared to 2.5 billion euros in September 2013.
In the 12-month period between October 2013 to September 2014, ELSTAT saw the value of imports increase by 1.9% compared to the previous 12-month period. The value of exports on the other hand dropped by 7.2% in the same 12-month period.
