The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has released its latest divs on employment and has found that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for July was 26.4%, compared to 27.8% in July 2013 and 26.7% in June 2014.

ELSTAT’s data shows that the number of unemployed was reduced by 69,413, marking a 5.1% drop since July 2013 and 12,212 (-0.9%) since June 2014. The total number of people employed in July 2014 was estimated to be 3,581,832.

On the contrary there were 1,281,686 people out of a job in July, while 3,268,994 people were economically non-active.
