POE-OTA continues actions against public sector staff reviews

The federation of local government employees POE-OTA has decided to continue its struggle against the staff reviews and the inspections to examine the conversion of fixed-term contracts into permanent contracts.

According to POE-OTA’s announcement, unionists will occupy mayor offices across Greece between 10 am and 1pm on Tuesday, the 30^th of October, while the 30^th of October has been declared as “Local Government Day”.

The federation added that during the occupations assemblies will be called in order to discuss the problems affecting local government employees and their demands.
