Την εκταμίευση της δόσης των 150 εκατ. ευρώ στην Κύπρο ενέκρινε την Τετάρτη το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του Ευρωπαϊκού Μηχανισμού Σταθερότητας σε συνέχεια της έγκρισης της τρίτης τριμηνιαίας αξιολόγησης του κυπριακού προγράμματος, από το Εurogroup.

Με θερμά λόγια αλλά και πίεση για την πρόοδο των μεταρρυθμίσεων συνόδευσαν την πολιτική απόφαση για την εκταμίευση των δόσεων 8,3 δισ. ευρώ οι κορυφαίοι παράγοντες του άτυπου Eurogroup το οποίο συνεδρίασε στο Ζάππειο Μέγαρο το πρωί της Τρίτης.

Με συγκέντρωση που θα ξεκινήσει στις 7 το απόγευμα στην Ομόνοια θα υποδεχτεί το ΠΑΜΕ τους υπουργούς Οικονομικών της ΕΕ που θα βρεθούν στην Αθήνα για τη σύσκεψη του Eurogroup. «Έρχονται να συζητήσουν για την ενιαία επίθεση του κεφαλαίου απέναντι στους εργαζόμενους, να μονιμοποιήσουν και να πολλαπλασιάσουν τα αντιλαϊκά μέτρα για την ανάκαμψη του κεφαλαίου» αναφέρει το ΠΑΜΕ σε ανακοίνωσή του.

Υπό πίεση βρίσκεται η κυβέρνηση μετά το Eurogroup της Δευτέρας, κατά το οποίο δόθηκε προς την κυβέρνηση τελεσίγραφο για επίτευξη συμφωνίας με την τρόικα έως το τέλος της εβδομάδας. Ερωτηθείς σχετικά, ο υφυπουργός Μεταφορών Μιχάλης Παπαδόπουλος κατήγγειλε ότι η τρόικα εξυπηρετεί ιδιωτικά συμφέροντα στη χώρα.

Ο υπουργός Οικονομικών κ. Γ. Στουρνάρας επιστρέφει σήμερα Τρίτη από τις Βρυξέλλες στην Αθήνα με ένα τελεσίγραφο στη βαλίτσα του.

Κρίσιμο ήταν το Eurogroup που πραγματοποιήθηκε το απόγευμα της Δευτέρας στις Βρυξέλλες με τη συμμετοχή του υπουργού Οικονομικών κ. Γιάννη Στουρνάρα και το οποίο τελείωσε αργά χθές το βράδυ με την παρότρυνση των ευρωπαίων υπουργών να τα βρεί η Ελλάδα με την τρόικα και να ολοκληρωθεί ο έλεγχος το ταχύτερο δυνατόν.
